Delete your Just Farkle account and data

This page explains how to delete your Just Farkle account and the data linked to it, and what is kept. The Privacy Policy has the full picture.

What data exists

Just Farkle has no sign-up, and offline games need no account. When you open Play versus players, the app signs you in anonymously with a random user ID and stores a player profile: your display name, your win/loss record and your streaks. Your challenges and matches, with a roll-by-roll record of each turn, are stored too. If you link a Google account, Firebase Authentication also holds that account's email address, name, account ID and the link to its profile picture.

If you watch a rewarded ad or buy Remove ads while online, the app may also create an anonymous user ID with no profile, to update an anonymous total. Settings and offline statistics are stored only on your phone.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Just Farkle.
  2. On the Home screen, tap the gear (Settings) at the top right.
  3. Tap Delete account & data.
  4. Confirm with Delete.

This deletes your account: your sign-in record in Firebase Authentication (your random user ID and, if you linked Google, that account's email address, name, account ID and the link to its profile picture), your player profile (display name, win/loss record and streaks), the challenges you posted and your matches that no other player took part in. The online data kept on your phone and the match reminders the app scheduled are removed too, and you are signed out.

In a match against another player, your name is replaced with “Deleted player” and your user ID is removed; the match stays so that their history is complete. Your ongoing matches are abandoned: each one against another player ends at once as a win for your opponent.

If you linked a Google account, Google may ask you to sign in once more before your sign-in record can be deleted. If any part cannot be deleted, for example without a connection, the app tells you what was not deleted: tap Delete account & data again, or email us as described below.

Ask us by email

Email appsbyabyteofeverything@gmail.com with the subject “Just Farkle account deletion”. Send it from the Google account you linked, if you linked one, and include your display name so we can find your account. The developer handles these requests by hand and answers within one month.

Use email if you cannot use the app. We delete the same data as the in-app option.
